IGW rail hits the road

8 July, 2021

For the last year and a half, the covid-19 pandemic has disrupted many aspects of our daily lives. Indeed, real-life meetings, both in our private and our professional lives, were largely impossible. Luckily however, we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel as restrictions are being lifted. That means that soon, exhibitions will be possible once more and as a consequence, we are really looking forward to meeting our customers in real life once again as IGW Rail will be present at two conventions.

First stop: the International Railway Fair

From August 26 to August 29, we can be found at booth C11 in hall 5 at the International Railway Fair in Moscow. 32 countries will be represented among the 212 exhibitors later this year. As such, this large-scale exhibition for rolling stock machinery offers great opportunities for international cooperation as it unites leaders from the railway industry and experts in niche businesses. IGW Rail is proud and happy to be present at this event that takes place in a space of 20,000 square metres and hosts around 6,000 people daily. This year, apart from the regular exhibition, there will also be thematic entertainment events as well as an industry-specific conference for the exhibition’s participants.

Next up: APTA’ TRANSform Conference & Expo

A few months later, we will present at APTA’s TRANSform Conference & EXPO in Orlando, Florida, at booth 2225. The TRANSform Conference will take place from 7 to 10 November, while the expo is hosted from 8 to 10 November. The former is aimed at combining learning, sharing, experiencing, and networking through various sessions while the latter involves participants displaying their expertise and networking with one another. Over the course of 4 days, more than 15,000 participants from all over the world will display and share their visions on mobility.

It goes without saying that all the necessary safety measures have been taken to ensure a smooth conference. In fact, the OCC Center in Orlando was chosen specifically because of how well the city has hosted events since March of this year.

It’s been a long and challenging year in which we have been separated from one another for too long. As such, we are very pleased and excited to be able to meet with our customers again face-to-face and enjoy those valuable interactions. Are you eager to find out more about our gearboxes, couplings or services? Then be sure to come see us and we’ll happily tell you all want to know. All that remains for us to say is we hope to see you soon in real life!
